NORBA project
The ESPON ECPs from the Nordic and Baltic countries have together establised a project which is referred to as NORBA: Nordic - Baltic Dialogues on Transnational Perspectives in Spatial Planning.
The project is one of the Transnational Networking Activities, conducted and funded under Priority 4 of the ESPON 2013 Programme. It aims to activate transnational interest in ESPON by involving policy makers, practitioners and scientists. The transnational networking activities are carried out by groupings of members of the ECP (ESPON Contact Point) network.
Partners of NORBA are the ECPs in Finland, Estonia, Iceland, Latvia, Norway and Sweden.Disclaimer: “This publication does not necessarily reflect the opinion of the ESPON Monitoring Committee. Nordic and Baltic Regions in a European Development and Policy Context is a conference that will take place March 14–15, 2012 in
Oslo, Norway (in “Forskningsparken” close to the University of Oslo).The conference was initiated by the Nordic Section of European Regional Science Association (NS-RSA) and NORBA.
Important dates:
- January 8: Preliminary registration of paper title and seminar attendance
- January 20: Deadline for abstract submission
- February 10: Notification of acceptance
- March 14–15: Seminar
