The Social Science Research Institute
The Social Science Research Institute is owned by the University of Iceland and shares partly a similar role as RHA does for University of Akureyri. These two institutes have e.g. on a regular basis cooperated in carrying out surveys on student satisfaction for the state universities in Iceland.
The Social Science Research Institute (SSRI) is an academic research institute within the University of Iceland. It pertains to the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences, the Faculty of Social Work and the Faculty of Political Science.
SSRI is a setting for research and development for the three faculties. SSRI works closely with the academic staff of those faculties as well as other research institutes within the University of Iceland.
