The Council

The NRF Council consists of seven scholars and experts. The overall direction of the Northern Research Forum is in the hands of the Council. The Council members all serve in their personal capacities. The NRF Council is a self-perpetuating body that solicits new members as appropriate. In selecting new members, the council seeks to include individuals familiar with the concerns of a variety of Northern constituencies and stakeholders. One important aspect of the NRF Council is that it operates by consensus among members present. The chair of the Council is Dr. Eyjólfur Guðmundsson.
